What is Inertia?
Inertia is the natural tendency of things to keep doing whatever theyβre already doing. If something is at rest, it will stay still unless something pushes or pulls it. If something is moving, it will keep moving in the same direction and at the same speed unless something stops it or changes its path. This is why, for example, when you’re in a car that suddenly stops, your body keeps moving forward β because your body wants to keep moving just like the car was. Inertia doesnβt make things move or stop β it just means things donβt want to change on their own. Itβs like laziness in objects β they resist change unless a force makes them do something different.
