What is Energy?
Energy is what makes things happen. Itβs the power that lets things move, light up, heat up, or change in some way. For example, when you eat food, your body gets energy to move and think. When you switch on a light, electrical energy turns into light and heat. There are many types of energy β like heat, light, sound, movement, and electricity β but they all do one thing: they make things work. Even when something isnβt moving, like a battery or a ball held up high, it can still store energy and use it later. So, energy is all around us, helping everything in the world work.
