What is Entropy?
Entropy is a way to measure how mixed up or messy something is. In science, things naturally go from being organized to being more random or spread out over time β thatβs entropy increasing. For example, imagine you drop a box of LEGO bricks β they scatter everywhere. It takes effort to put them back in order. That messy pile is like high entropy. The more spread out or disorganized something is, the higher the entropy. So, entropy is just natureβs way of saying, βThings like to go from order to disorder unless something works to keep them organized.β
