What is Magnetism?
Magnetism is a force that pulls or pushes certain objects, especially ones made of iron, nickel, or cobalt. Magnets have two ends, called the north pole and the south pole. Opposite poles attract (pull together), and same poles repel (push away). This invisible force can even work through air or other materials! Earth itself is like a giant magnet β thatβs why compasses point north. Magnetism is used in many everyday things like speakers, motors, credit cards, and even MRI machines in hospitals. So, magnetism is an invisible power that makes some things move or stick together without touching.
