What is Gravity?

Gravity is the force that pulls things toward each other. The most common example is how Earth pulls everything toward itself β€” that’s why things fall when you drop them. Gravity is what keeps you on the ground, makes rain fall, and keeps the Moon going around the Earth. The bigger and heavier something is, the stronger its gravity. Earth is big, so it has strong gravity, but the Sun is even bigger β€” its gravity is what keeps all the planets (including Earth) moving around it. So in simple words, gravity is the invisible pull that keeps things from floating away and helps hold the whole universe together.
